Support To People of Maban County Upper Nile State

We supported a Community_LGAs (Local Government Authorities) and partners interaction meeting in Maban County_Upper Nile State. The meeting brought Community, LGAs and partners together to discuss Anticipatory Actions for Flood response preparation in Maban County. Both stakeholders expressed readiness to intervene and support the DRR plan in the area which shall. Be led by the community structures such as the flood Mitigation committee, Disaster Risk Reduction committee and the Community leadership.

Community leaders said they have started the renovation of the dyke and are calling for partners support in the Anticipatory action. “We are really grateful for Community Support Initiative -CSI on their support to organize this Coordination meeting for preparation on fighting the flood which comes every year”, a community leader lamented.
