CSI MANAGEMENT AND GOVERNING BODIES:
1. General Assembly.
This is the highest governing body and is made up of 13 members who have permanent office tenure. From a technical viewpoint, CSI’s Members shall not only be representative. It shall be technical and professional for it to fulfill its functions, roles and responsibilities effectively and efficiently. The Assembly is to meet once after every two-year time, although it has to sit for extraordinary meetings as frequently as possible when situations dictate. Among its vitalresponsibilities/roles is to elect and manage the Board of CSI.
2. The Board
Below the General Assembly is the Board which is made up of 9 members (currently 4 females and 5 males). These members are drawn from different walks of life and which sits Twice a year. Some of its roles includes: Policy formulation, resources mobilization, hire and manage the Executive Director, among others. The above governing bodies are responsible for deliberations and confirmation of the organization’s policies, guidelines and plans.3. The Executive (Management)
The Executive Director heads the management team (MT) and is therefore, responsible for the day-to-day management of the organization ‘s affairs and is assisted by the top managers: Programme Manager, the Finance and Administration Manager.
