Advocacy

In advocacy, CSI gives due attention to influencing policy and practice to help engage the government, community level structures as well as the international community to draw attention towards an issue that needs to be addressed in the country. Advocacy raises awareness about an issue within the community which can be a disease prevalence, food shortage/hunger strikes, conflict, an area of development like provision of clean water points in an area where water borne diseases are prevalent. CSI will use advocacy as tool to changing community beliefs and to support the work of peace and reconciliation among communities.
