Community support initiative (CSI) is an indigenous South Sudanese humanitarian aid, relief, and development nongovernmental organization working to assist and empower people affected by poverty and disasters to live a life in dignity. It is founded in 2012 as a national Non Governmental Organization to provides emergency aid and long-term assistance to refugees and those displaced by war, persecution, or natural disaster within South Sudan. CSI is currently working in all the states within South Sudan where it resettles refugees, Internally Displaced
persons (IDP), and helps them become self-sufficient and resilience through copying mechanism. CSI focuses mainly at community based levels on access to justice & rules of law, women empowerment, Education, Food security and livelihoods, WASH, Health, Nutrition, HIV/Aids
awareness campaigns, GBV, health, education, economic wellbeing, Protection inclusive of mental health and Psychosocial support (MHPSS) and local based peace initiatives. CSI is managed by independent non-partisan indigenous professionals with wealth of practical
and technical experience in multi-sectoral approach. The organization has its head office in plot 49,1st class, Hai-Malakal (opp. Equity bank), Juba South Sudan.
